Technology has been my working life. I’ve worked at two software companies: a US-based business applying AI to home services, auto services and retail, and a global ERP platform for food distributors. Two very different industries, and I’ve seen what good software does for a business when it’s built properly.

I’ve also seen the other side: monthly fees for tools that almost fit, and a business reshaping its day around features it never asked for. At the end of it, nothing is owned.

That’s the gap. So I started htbj. Custom software built around how you actually work, paid for once and owned outright. No subscription, no renting your own business.
